About Alessandra Bessler
An internationally recognized teacher and entrepreneur, Alessandra has been active in dance and competitive sports since childhood. Her connection to dance, movement and physical challenge attracted her 15 years ago to the Lotte Berk Method - the original barre method where most barre classes have their roots. Trained in the method Alessandra taught for four years before joining Exhale Spa in New York City. She worked alongside Elisabeth Halfpapp and Fred Devito, who with over 22 years at Lotte Berk had modernized the method adding yoga and Pilates elements and created the much publicized Core Fusion program. Alessandra became a fulltime instructor and Core Fusion coordinator for Exhale’s first three years, managing over 300 classes and a staff of 30 teachers while overseeing the programs consistency and quality. Developing the training program and as part of the National Core Fusion Teacher Training Team Alessandra guided potential teachers through the certification process and ensured the quality of the program. After moving to Islamabad, Pakistan in 2009, she developed and created CORE Fit and Flow. Within two years after her home studio opened, she ran a class schedule, which was attended by more than 150 students a week. Alessandra discovered pilates&moi when she arrived in Lausanne in June 2011 and liked what she saw. The attraction being mutual and with a shared desire to open a second studio dedicated to CORE BARRE TRAINING, Alessandra became co-owner a few months later. Having followed the Balanced Body Pilates Reformer Instructor Training Program in 2011 and 2012, Alessandra now teaches CORE BARRE, REFORMER, TRX & YOGA FLOW
